Supporting materials (e.g., references, transcripts, completed psychological assessment) must be received by January 15 and September 15, respectively. The completed applications are then considered for preliminary acceptance by the faculty of the appropriate academic department and by the Doctorates Studies Committee.
Depending on their prior academic preparation, students enter the program either at Stage 1 or Stage 2. Applicants entering at Stage 1 must have attained a bachelors degree (BA, BS, etc.) and the Master of Divinity degree (MDiv) or their educational equivalents. For purposes of admission to Stage 1 of the Doctor of Biblical Studies program, an MDiv degree is understood to be a minimum of three years of full-time study (approximately 90 semester hours). Applicants must have an academic record that demonstrates superior ability and shows promise of success in doctoral studies. In the absence of a masters thesis, applicants must provide a research paper previously written at the masters level that shows an acceptable level of competency in research and writing. After completing Stage 1, applicants must complete requirements for entrance into Stage 2.
Applicants entering at Stage 2, in addition to a bachelors degree, must have attained the Master of Theology degree (ThM) or Master of Sacred Theology degree (STM) or their educational equivalents. For purposes of admission to Stage 2 of the Doctoral program, the ThM or STM degree must be a minimum of one year of full-time study (approximately 30 semester hours), or in the case of Triumphs Kingdom University graduates, the ThM degree. Any deficiencies in these areas must be made up without credit in the program. Applicants must have an academic record that demonstrates superior ability and shows promise of success in doctoral studies. Applicants must also present an acceptable masters thesis. In lieu of a masters thesis, Stage 2 applicants may submit a research paper previously produced for a graduate-level course. This paper should demonstrate research skill in ones academic discipline, clarity of organization, logical presentation, attention to detail, and writing ability at a level suitable for entrance to a Doctor of Biblical Studies program.
Course Requirements
Students in the Doctoral program may major in either the Division of Biblical Studies or the Division of Theological Studies. For students admitted with only the MDiv degree, the program requires two stages. Stage one consists of 26 semester hours of work at the masters level (see above) and stage two requires an additional 35 hours of doctoral work. Students with the ThM or STM degree complete only stage two of the program, or 35 semester hours of classroom work involving at least three semesters of study.
Qualifying exams for stage two assume completion of the 26 hours of stage one. However, students are eligible to take the qualifying exams for stage two during their final semester before completion of stage one and if they are making satisfactory progress on the thesis. Qualifying exams for stage two must be completed successfully before continuing in the doctoral program. Students may attempt the stage two qualifying exams a maximum of two times.
Stage two requirements for all doctoral students are as follows. For Biblical Studies majors, 9 hours of course work are required in divisional courses. In addition to this core curriculum, each student must take 12 hours in a concentration, either Old Testament Studies, New Testament Studies, or Bible Exposition and complete a 3-hour dissertation in their major field. Each student also has 11 hours of electives. For a major in Theological Studies, at least 22 hours must be taken in seminars offered by the Division of Theological Studies. In addition they must complete 10 hours of approved elective courses in other departments and a 3 hour dissertation.
Doctoral students are required to demonstrate ability to read scholarly at least one foreign languages. Information on the dates when the examinations in these languages must be taken is given in the Doctorates Handbook.
Only courses taken after receiving the prerequisite degree (MDiv, ThM or STM) can be credited toward the degree of Doctor of Biblical Studies. Normally work done in other institutions may not be credited toward stage two of the degree. A minimal grade of B- must be received in every course credited toward graduation and also on the dissertation.
STM Completion
Students who fail the qualifying exams on completion of Stage 1 of the program may choose to complete the STM degree by finishing any requirements that remain for that degree. In most cases, this will require only 6 more hours of coursework. (This assumes that students have completed the 26 hours of coursework required for Stage 1 of the program, since the STM degree requires 32 hours for completion.) The additional 6 hours should be taken in the following segments: 3 hours in Communications, 2 hours in Theological Studies (if the major is Biblical Studies) or 2 hours in Biblical Studies (if the major is Theological Studies), and 1 hour of Internship credit. Students must also have completed coursework in soteriology and eschatology in their masters program.
Students may transfer a maximum of 6 hours into the STM program, even if additional transfer was considered toward Stage 1 requirements of the program. Additional information on STM completion is available from the Advising Center.
Admission to Candidacy
Students may be admitted to candidacy for the degree by action of the faculty only after
(1) completing all residence requirements leading to the degree;
(2) passing written and oral examinations in the fields within the major;

Graduation Requirements
Candidates in the program must have completed 61 semester hours of coursework (35 for students entering with a ThM or STM degree), including dissertation and any other requirements that may have been assigned.
The completion of minimum requirements does not automatically qualify students for the degree. They must evidence, to the satisfaction of the faculty, proven Christian character, ability and acceptability in Christian ministry, and adherence to the doctrines stated in the Admission to Candidacy section.
Diplomas will not be awarded, transcripts issued, or placement assistance provided unless all financial obligations to the TKU by the student payment program are completed.

The first responsibility of a leader is to define reality. The last is to say thank you. The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not bully; be thoughtful, but not lazy; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant; have humor but without folly. All of the great leaders have had one characteristic in common: it was the willingness to confront unequivocally the major anxiety of their people in their time. This, and not much else, is the essence of leadership.
Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other. Leaders must be close enough to relate to others, but far enough ahead to motivate them. A good leader is a person who takes a little more than his share of the blame and a little less than his share of the credit.
Throughout the six weeks intensive training sessions, distinguished facilitators emphasize strong link between character, competence and leadership is explored using practical activities, quotes features and research, we explore topics such as:

As leaders, we choose how we show up. No matter what level you are, never forget that others are watching. We model behaviors for people around us, setting expectations for how we expect to be treated and what we expect of others. This defines the character others see in you and takes courage. Always be authentic, living by example, model integrity and if you are your best in the ordinary moments of life, you will be great in the extraordinary ones. Character is the core heartbeats of great leadership. Corrupt leaders have dead conscience.

Community leadership is about ensuring these resources are used effectively to meet local priorities. Community leadership is also about delivering the best outcomes for local people and actively seeking new ways to promote the wellbeing of their area.
Community leadership is the practice of guiding a community by a group of people who work together to achieve common goals:
Representing the community
Community leaders are seen as representatives of the community and are responsible for representing the needs of everyone in the community.
Working for the common good
Community leaders work to resolve community issues and ensure resources are used effectively to meet local priorities.
Empowering the community
Community leaders foster collaboration, empowerment, and shared responsibility among community members.
Communicating the community's needs
Community leaders communicate the passions and experiences of community members to outside organizations.
Being ethical and inclusive
Community leaders should be ethical and inclusive, and be sensitive to the needs of the community they represent.
Community leaders can emerge from within the community or be appointed. They facilitate discussions, connect members, and provide direction without having authority over the community or its members.
Some skills that are important for community leaders include: Communication, Planning, Organization, Building consensus, and Developing a shared vision.
Self-reflection is another important aspect of community leadership. Leaders who are self-aware tend to foster healthier work environments, make better decisions, and work more efficiently with team members.
The Basics Of Building Community Leadership:
Leadership in any organization is important. A community is a type of organization that we often forget to recognize as such. Community leadership is essential to representing the needs of everyone in the community and ensuring that resources are distributed fairly.
Leadership is defined as the skill or ability of an individual(s) to influence or guide other individuals or organizations. Community leadership is essential because it also inspires communities to advocate for themselves, their needs and access to resources to improve their quality of living.
Strong community leadership does not come into existence by happenstance. It must be developed and cultivated, sensitive to the needs of the community it represents, and able to communicate the passions and experiences of community members to outside organizations such as private companies, non-profits, and federal agencies.
Strong community leaders are engaged, consistently meeting with and observing members of the community. Community leadership should be ethical and inclusive. It is made up of the community and likely has roots and family with a vested interest in the well-being of the community. Strong community leadership also provides access to resources to meet needs that may otherwise go unnoticed. Since strong community leadership advocates for and gives a voice to the community, it allows needs to be made known to organizations such as government agencies and non-profit organizations that have resources to meet community needs. Now that you know how important community leadership is, here are some basic tips, that communities and individuals can use to build strong leadership.
Learn about your community and its needs. Meet and talk with your neighbors every chance to learn about their current needs and situations. You might collect ideas to improve your community. Ask whether people would like to meet and discuss developing caring community teams. A survey might be a helpful option to collect ideas and opinions.
Find collaborative team leaders. Once youve identified your communitys needs, take some time to prioritize and form teams to take action. Organize those who want to help into those teams and identify someone who can be the team leader.
Engage team leaders and the whole community. Once you have identified teams, meet to discuss how the teams might implement some easy ideas generated from the survey results. Please encourage the team to find an effective communication method to keep connected and keep the community informed.
Offer help and invite your neighbors to join various projects. Be sure to tell them whom to contact if they need a hand. Even if specific needs are not apparent, you can start planning a community project like establishing a safety or emergency protocol.
Start helping. If the project exceeds the capacity of your team, ask additional community members to lend a hand. Usually, people are willing to help for special causes.
Build on what you started. Reflect with your teams and community about how you reached the goal or fulfilled the need. Ask for honest and constructive feedback. Keep your community constantly connected through social meetings and events.
Inspire others to create more caring communities. You can also be a mentor to others on their leadership pathways.
In addition to the steps above, community members can take advantage of local leadership training offered by local city governments or non-profit leadership councils. We are a non-profit dedicated to developing and engaging diverse leaders to affect positive community transformation.
This organization exists to educate, inspire, convene and connect leaders to advance and instill the values of action, integrity, diversity, engagement, inclusion and growth into the future leaders. LEGAL STATEMENT ON ACCREDITATION
Exempt From Licensure
Certificate, Diploma and Degree programs of study offered by Triumphs Kingdom University Theological Seminary have been declared exempt from the requirements for licensure, under the provisions of South Carolina exemption for Non-Public Post Secondary Institutions License Act Chapter 58 Title 59 for institutions whose sole purpose is religious, biblical or theological training.
General Statutes Section state for exemption from licensure with respect to religious education as a Post-Secondary Religious Institutions under Code 59.58.30 of the Nonpublic Postsecondary Religious Institutions Act of Title 59. Triumphs Kingdom University received official letter of exemptions from the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education to be recognized as authorized to operate and offer educational training leading to religious, biblical and theological degrees.
Triumphs Kingdom University offers a Biblical education; granting degrees in Theological Biblical Studies and in Christian Ministry. Triumphs Kingdom University does not offer degrees in secular non-religious vocations. We holds three distinct affiliation and accreditation within the USA.
Accreditation is a process by which an institution evaluates its educational activities, in whole or in part, and seeks an independent judgment to confirm that it achieves its mission and goals and is generally equal in quality to comparable institutions or specialized units.
Accreditation is the act of certifying that an educational institution maintains suitable standards; the granting of approval to an institution of learning by an official review board after the school has met certain requirements. Specifically, accreditation is the review of a school course offerings and procedures by a group of its peers to certify that that school is meeting its own stated objectives and offering its students the education it promises them.
There is secular education and there is religious education. Secular schools seek secular accreditation, and sacred schools receive sacred accreditation each by their own peers. Religious institutions need no secular accreditation. Secular accreditation associations in turn are recognized by governmental agencies.
To accredit is to give official authorization to or approval of; to provide with credentials; to recognize or vouch for as conforming with a standard; to recognize as maintaining standards that qualify the graduates for admission to higher or more specialized institutions or for professional practice; to consider or recognize as outstanding. Accreditation is a quality assurance process that colleges, universities and education institutions, or programs undergo to confirm that they meet a strict and recognized set of service and operational standards.
According to the US law on education Religious Institutions Accreditation is purely voluntary in nature, not mandatory for any Bible school to operate. Generally, people working in ministry positions do not need a USDE accredited degree. If you are pursuing education at Triumphs Kingdom University with the intent of obtaining employment or for some other reason, you should check with that organization BEFORE applying for enrollment in Triumphs Kingdom University.
As a result, the Triumphs Kingdom University curriculum is undergirded by strong academic standards. It is designed to enable the student to reach his or her highest potential in ministering the Gospel of Jesus Christ to His church and to non-Christians. Our degrees are not meant to prepare people for secular employment, instead they are religious degrees that prepare students for service in Christian ministry.
All degrees of Triumphs Kingdom University as Christian University are of an ecclesiastical nature, and whether granted or conferred, are in the restricted area of religion with the special purpose of preparing persons to work in the area of religion, whether educational or ministerial. Degree program(s) of study offered by Triumphs Kingdom University as a Christian University have been declared exempt from the requirements for licensure under provisions of the US law.
Transferability of credits earned at Triumphs Kingdom University as a Christian University and transferred to another institution is at the discretion of the receiving institution. The degree programs of this Christian university seminary are designed solely for religious vocations. Triumphs Kingdom University is not accredited by a U.S. Department of Education approved accrediting agency nor is it accredited by a government recognized accrediting agency. Government accreditation is not required for the religious vocations in which we train.
Accreditation is an external evaluation of our peers which is intended to verify that we, as an educational institution, are appropriately meeting or exceeding our stated educational goals and objectives. Accreditation ensures that a school is offering a quality program. The Triumphs Kingdom University as Christian University institution is not accredited by a recognized accrediting agency. The accrediting body name is not recognized by the U. S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
Triumphs Kingdom University by the provisions of the U.S law recognizes our certification as private postsecondary institution with the primary purpose is offering Christian religious biblical theological education. The titles of degrees, diplomas, or certificates awarded by Triumphs Kingdom University clearly reflects that our primary purpose is solely Christian religious training of theological education and is not in any form secular or liberal arts education.
Note for a fact that no matter what school one attends, there is no ironclad guarantee that all credits will be transferred to another school. It is entirely up to the individual school as to whether or not they will accept any part or all of credits earned from another school. The U.S. Department of Education states accreditation by a regional accrediting agency or any other accrediting agency does not provide automatic acceptance by an Institution of credits earned at another institution.
Triumphs Kingdom University is accredited, but has not chosen to be accredited via national, regional, governmental, or by the USDE. Triumphs Kingdom University has not pursued such recognition for two main reasons. First, we want to keep the cost of tuition affordable so that more students have the opportunity to study at Triumphs Kingdom University, obtain their degree, and remain free from student loans and debts. Secondly, USDE accreditation is not necessary for the theological degrees in which we offer training.
Being that Triumphs Kingdom University is an educational Christian ministry, and our degree programs are religious in nature, and understands the benefits and importance of being accredited, and is willing to become examined by a third party organization, Triumphs Kingdom University has chosen to become accredited by a prominent worldwide ecclesiastical accrediting agency such as, the Accrediting Commission For Biblical Higher Education.
The Accrediting Commission For Biblical Higher Education (ACBHE) is an independent, non-profit corporation in Houston Texas. Their purpose is to be an accrediting agency to Bible colleges, specialized schools, institutes and seminaries, which handle distance, external study programs and/or resident programs. ACBHE assist Institutions that do not choose the governmental connection with regional accreditation.
ACBHE is a Christian based foundation that is dedicated to the specialized area of Theological Education. No other secular corporate structure or alternate studies need to be addressed for the receiving of ACBHE Accreditation. Institutes are reviewed based upon their Theological studies standards.
Triumphs Kingdom University has satisfactorily attained the prescribed standards of the ACBHE required for certification and accreditation by this association and is therefore admitted as a fully recognized and accredited educational institution in good and regular standing. Therefore, Triumphs Kingdom University has been granted the Certificate Of Accreditation with all rights and privileges in accordance with the rules, regulations, and guidelines of this Accrediting Agency.
Triumphs Kingdom University is also an accredited member of the National Bible College Association.
All courses that are implemented by Triumphs Kingdom University are accredited by the National Bible College Association who are authorized to grant Certificates, and to award associate, bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees. The National Bible College Association is an evangelical, faith based, accrediting agencies. The National Bible College Association is a non-governmental accreditation, extended exclusively to private, Christian institutions upon inspection and approval of their programs, operations, and integrity.
The National Bible College Association Louisville, Kentucky is a worldwide accreditation agency that honors the separation of church and state, and extends beyond national boundaries. Its standards and expectations measure compliance with scriptural principles as applied to education.
Our Memberships helps benefit by having a new way to build credibility and accountability outside of traditional accrediting organizations. Choosing Our paths to the Non-Traditional Accrediting Organizations Emerge is not adverse to secular accreditation. In fact, we recognize the benefits of having a peer review process by which your standards are examined and tested. As it says in Proverbs 27:17 Iron sharpens iron and one man sharpens another (ESV) As educational capabilities evolved with the improvements in modern technology, the realization was starting to arise that an educational institution could have a great program without a traditional brick and mortar building.
Unlike some other secular accrediting organizations, the above agencies are not tied to approval by the U.S. Board of Education or the requirements that come with it. While the greater credibility of the U.S. Board of Education and other more traditional accrediting organizations were not present, these non-traditional accrediting organization also did not carry with it the necessity of physical location, physical libraries, and full faculty including tenured professors, counselors, and the like. The leaders recognized that the internet holds many resources that can be used in teaching, including old and modern scholarly books, various sermons from preachers in all denominations, and even biblical Greek study aids. Research that would formerly have been done wading through page after page of various books in a library could now be done virtually online by internet with a few short commands on a computer keyboard.
In light of this, these agencies provides accreditation through a strictly peer-review process. The process evaluates courses, training programs, and the like based on the educational merits and the dedication of the faculty to quality theological education. Membership fees are substantially lower, and there are no requirements for physical campuses or physical extensive libraries. This membership in a peer-review accrediting organization will be beneficial to us as we seek to hold our training to the highest educational standards and train up leaders for Christ wherever they are all over the world. Triumphs Kingdom University is committed to Christian educational excellence and therefore continues to upholding higher standards of quality and global impacts. We would associate with more international organizations of repute with like interests in near future. All of these distinguished private non governmental accreditations authorization must be renewed each year and is based on the evaluation of standards concerning the quality of education, ethical business practices, and fiscal responsibility.
Triumphs Kingdom University allows the three aforementioned organizations to monitor, assess, and evaluate the standards of our Institution, as well as the quality of the education given to our students. Triumphs Kingdom University submits to their requirements of high academic quality, accurate record-keeping, and ethical policies and practices. In the light of which we implore applicants to not confuse our non profit accreditations status with the secular institution's, please take note that Triumphs Kingdom University assumes no liability of any kind. With the Religious Exemption we affirm that all the programs Triumphs Kingdom University Theological Seminary offers are distinctly for Religious, Christian ministry, Biblical and Theological in nature and are not intended to equip its students for the secular workplace. The USA laws affords Triumphs Kingdom University a religious exemption from governmental oversight.

Our Values
The values of Triumphs Kingdom University (TKU) are those essential things that guide how we carry out our mission. We summarize them in three words: Truth, Transformation and Testimony. Each value provides a focal point for the lifelong patterns we aim to develop in our students.
Truth: Patterns of Thought
We believe truth exists, is found in the person of Jesus Christ, and is revealed in the Bible and in the created order. We also believe that truth must be pursued. Learning the art of pursuing truth is, indeed, at the center of a Triumphs Kingdom University education. Our faculty teach and model this pursuit in order to develop in our students’ patterns of thought that are rigorous, intellectually coherent and thoroughly biblical.
Transformation: Patterns of Heart
Jesus Christ transforms individuals. As a Christ-serving university, the entire Triumphs Kingdom University experience is designed for life transformation in Christ. Our goal is that each graduate will have formed a personal value system — one that is firmly rooted in truth and is integrative, globally informed and compassionate — that will influence their lifelong affections, decisions and actions. Said differently, we want our students to develop patterns of heart that reflect the heart of God.
Testimony: Patterns of Action
Triumphs Kingdom University's mission is to impact the world for the Lord Jesus Christ. This mission is fulfilled when our graduates demonstrate "the obedience of faith" in service to others through words of wisdom, professional and personal competencies, hearts of compassion and acts of courage. We equip our students with patterns of action to lead in the face of unscripted problems for the good of a changing world, and to do so in the power of the Holy Spirit, for the glory of God, to bring many to salvation in Christ.

THE STATEMENT OF FAITH
What we believe at Triumphs Kingdom University International Bible College and Theological Seminary
This Statement of Faith is intended simply as a basis for belief, fellowship, and cooperation among us. The phraseology employed in this statement is the truth set forth by the Holy Scriptures which is held to be essential to a truly Pentecostal ministry and that it covers our need for these essential principles of faith in Christian doctrines.
THE INSPIRATION OF THE SCRIPTURES
We believe that the Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct. Divine inspiration extends equally and fully to all parts of the original writings, insuring their entire trustworthiness (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:21).
THE ETERNAL GODHEAD
We believe in the unity of the one true and living God who is the eternal, self-existent One, and has revealed Himself as one being in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:16-17; 28:19).
God the Father We believe in God the Father, the first person of the triune Godhead, who exists eternally as the Creator of heaven and earth, the Giver of the Law, to whom all things will be subjected, so that He may be all in all (Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; 1 Corinthians 15:28).
The Lord Jesus Christ We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the second person of the triune Godhead, who was and is the eternal Son of God; that He became incarnate by the Holy Spirit and was born of the virgin Mary. We believe in His sinless life, miraculous ministry, substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, triumphant ascension, and abiding intercession (Isaiah 7:14; Hebrews 7:25-26; 1 Peter 2:22; Acts 1:9; 2:22; 10:38; 1 Corinthians 15:4; 2 Corinthians 5:21).
The Holy Spirit We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the triune Godhead, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, and is ever present and active in the work of convicting and regenerating the sinner, and sanctifying the believer into all truth (John 14:26; 16:8-11; 1 Peter 1:2; Romans 8:14-16).
THE FALL OF MAN
We believe that humankind was created good and upright. However, voluntary transgression resulted in their alienation from God, thereby incurring not only physical death but spiritual death, which is separation from God (Genesis 1:16-27; 2:17; 3:6; Romans 5:12-19).
THE SALVATION OF MAN
We believe in salvation through faith in Christ, who died for our sins, was buried, and was raised from the dead on the third day. By His atoning blood, salvation has been provided for all humanity through the sacrifice of Christ upon the cross. This experience is also known as the new birth, and is an instantaneous and complete operation of the Holy Spirit whereupon the believing sinner is regenerated, justified, and adopted into the family of God, becomes a new creation in Christ Jesus, and heir of eternal life (John 3:5-6; Romans 10:8-15; Titus 2:11, 3:4-7; 1 John 5:1).
DIVINE HEALING
We believe that deliverance from sickness is provided in the atonement and is the privilege of all believers (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; James 5:14-16). We believe in supernatural miracle of divine healing, is provided for all in the atonement.
THE CHURCH AND ITS MISSION
We believe that the church is the body of Christ and the habitation of God through the Spirit, witnesses to the presence of the kingdom of God in the present world, and universally includes all who are born again (Ephesians 1:22-23; 2:22; Romans 14:17-18; 1 Corinthians 4:20). We believe that the mission of the church is to (1) proclaim the good news of salvation to all humankind, (2) build up and train believers for spiritual ministry, (3) praise the Lord through worship, and (4) demonstrate Christian compassion to all who suffer (Matthew 28:19-20; 10:42; Ephesians 4:11-13).
THE ORDINANCES OF THE CHURCH
We believe that baptism in water by immersion is expected of all who have repented and believed. In so doing they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and been raised with Him to walk in newness of life (Matthew 28:19; Acts 10:47-48; Romans 6:4). We believe that the Lord's Supper is a proclamation of the suffering and death of our Lord Jesus Christ, to be shared by all believers until the Lord returns (Luke 22:14-20; 1 Corinthians 11:20-34).
SANCTIFICATION
We believe that sanctification is an act of separation from that which is evil, and of dedication unto God. In experience, it is both instantaneous and progressive. It is produced in the life of the believer by his appropriation of the power of Christ's blood and risen life through the person of the Holy Spirit. He draws the believer's attention to Christ, teaches him through the Word and produces the character of Christ within him (Romans 6:1-11; 8:1-2,13; 12:1-2; Galatians 2:20; Hebrews 10:10, 14).
THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit is the bestowing of the believer with power for life and service for Christ. This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the new birth, is received by faith, and is accompanied by the manifestation of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance as the initial evidence (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8; 2:1-4; 8:15-19; 11:14-17; 19:1-7).
THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the continuation present-day operation of the nine supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12) and the ministry gifts of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-13) for the edification and expansion of the church. We believe in the baptism with the Holy Spirit subsequent to a clean heart, in speaking with other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit. We believe in water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. We believe In the Lord's Supper and washing of the saints' feet.
PRAY: We make prayer the basis of every ministry and encourage communion with God as the way we grow to spiritual maturity in Him.
PREACH: We emphasize the original Pentecostal doctrines of salvation, sanctification, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit, continually striving to develop fully committed disciples of Jesus Christ.
PUBLISH: We publish the Gospel through the written word, the spoken word, and through our personal lives, daily looking for opportunities to spread the message, "You must be born again." We believe in the bodily resurrection of all humanity, the everlasting conscious bliss of all who truly believe in our Lord Jesus Christ, and that everlasting conscious punishment is the portion of all whose names are not written in the Book of Life (John 5:28-29; 1 Corinthians 15:22-24; Revelation 20:10-15)
THE END OF TIME
We believe in the premillennial, imminent, and personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ to gather His people unto Himself. Having this blessed hope and earnest expectation, we purify ourselves, even as He is pure, so that we may be ready to meet Him when He comes (John 14:1-3; Titus 2:13; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17; 1 John 3:2-3; Revelation 20:1-6). We believe Holiness to be God's standard of living for His people.
As an educational higher institution of Christian Faith and Church we embrace a statement of faith that is common among many Christian traditions.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative word of God.
We believe that there is one God, creator of heaven and earth, eternally existent in three persons, Father Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, and in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return to power and glory.
We believe in the fall and consequent total moral depravity of humanity, resulting in our exceeding sinfulness and lost estate, and necessitating our regeneration by the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the present and continuing ministry of sanctification by the Holy Spirit by whose infilling the believing Christian is cleansed and empowered for a life of holiness and service.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved to the resurrection of life and those who are lost to the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Internships is a mandatory learning experience for all TKU students
Ministry Internship (6 credits): The student spends minimum six months as an intern serving under the pastor of a local church. This allows the student to receive credit toward their degree while receiving hands-on experience in a structured work environment.
Education Internship (6 credits): The student spends minimum six months as an intern serving under the administrator of a Christian educational institution. This allows the student to receive credit toward their degree while receiving hands-on experience in a structured work environment.
At Triumphs Kingdom University Chapel Service are mandatory and very important, intergral essential ways of partially fulfilling the core values of the college: educating persons to be intellectually proficient and disciplined, spiritually astute and mature, vocationally focused and adaptive, socially confident and compassionate, life long learners, and transformers of culture.
The Common Experience in Triumphs Kingdom Universitys Core Curriculum requires a Cross-Cultural Experience:
The cross-cultural experience allows students to confront their own presuppositions about what culture is and what culture means. The experience also helps students broaden their awareness and appreciation of diverse cultures. It seeks to prepare them to operate more thoughtfully in a world that is increasingly interconnected. As students encounter other cultures, they may realize ways to interact creatively to meet needs they see and will also realize that new situations transform them.
The Cross-Cultural Experience requirement is separate and different from the Chapel, Convocation, and Service (CCS) requirement.
Cross-Cultural Experience credit requires:
at least thirty hours of direct contact with
a distinct population following
a culture markedly different from the students home culture;
a written reflection on the students presuppositions about the population and its culture, and
a written exploration on lessons learned during time with the population, including reflection on how the students presuppositions have changed.
Students should register for KING 3000 during the semester in which they plan to complete the requirement, generally in the semester or two before graduation. Doing so will give the student access to the KING 3000 which will allow the student to designate one of five ways for fulfilling the requirement.
Study Abroad
Triumphs Kingdom University students have a long tradition of studying abroad. Many of these opportunities allow students to travel to English speaking countries in Africa, the Pacific, or the U.K, while other destinations allow students to enhance their foreign language skills.
Triumphs Kingdom University has established bilateral relationships with various schools exchange programs, churches ministries and universities, which ensures that students receive transferable credit for their coursework in foreign countries.
Mission Trips
The University plans several mission trips each year. Short-term trips are scheduled during Spring Break to locations within the U.S. and abroad. The Chaplains Office plans longer trips to Africa, Asia, Pakistan, Phillipines, India, and several other destinations.
Students may also propose an activity as fulfilling the Cross-Cultural Experience requirement.
A student experience requires a demonstration of how the activity meets the requirements listed above. This demonstration has two parts:
completion of an in-depth proposal, and a final project (for example, a reflection paper or a poster session) exploring lessons learned during time with the population and considering how the students presuppositions have changed.
The Student Outreach Experience may be an extended service experience within the community, such as working at the Salvation Army, participating in volunteering at Remote Area expeditions, or befriending a child whose parent is in prison. To fulfill the Cross-Cultural Experience requirement, such activities need to go beyond regular service and address the requirements listed above regarding engagement with and reflection on the culture of a distinct population. Although the local option typically involves working with or through a local mission or service organization.
Please note: The student-Outreach experience must occur after matriculation to Triumphs Kingdom University. The student must complete the self-initiated Cross-Cultural Experience requirement before graduation.
International Student Experience
Cross-cultural Experience in this category concerns the international students experience with the American culture. The writing of a reflective essay on the experience will fulfill the requirement.
